DR PHILDA DE JAGER
Qualified for practice in Sports Medicine at UCT in 1992. Travelled to the Olympics and Commonwealth as team doctor. She holds additional qualifications in aesthetics, Emergency, Aviation, Dive and Hyperbaric Medicine. Most recently, Dr. Philda achieved her full Associate Accreditation from the College of Medicine of South Africa — a recognition of her ongoing commitment to excellence in sports medicine and clinical practice.
DR HANNO VAN ZYL
Dr. Hanno van Zyl is a physician in Pretoria, South Africa, specializing in sports injuries, orthopaedic conditions, musculoskeletal ultrasonography, concussion care, and minor procedures. He is committed to helping patients achieve optimal health through expert, patient-centred care. Furthermore, he is also a dedicated Aviation Medical Examiner for Class 2 and 4 medicals for aviation assessments.
DR HERMAN ROSSOUW
Dr Herman practiced in Pretoria since 2004. He completed his MSc Sports Medicine degree, Cum Laude in 2012. Joined the Blue Bulls medical team in 2011 and became the Medical Director for the company in 2016. Most recently, Dr. Herman achieved his full Associate Accreditation from the College of Medicine of South Africa, further affirming his dedication to advancing sports medicine excellence.
DR RUAN GENIS​
Dr. Ruan Genis is a Sports Medicine Physician in Pretoria, South Africa, specializing in sports injuries, orthopaedic care, musculoskeletal ultrasonography, and concussion management. He was the team doctor for the Vodacom Blue Bulls junior team before becoming the Chief Medical Officer for the Lions Rugby Team, where he brings hands-on expertise to his practice.

Dr Muller is a sports physician with a passion for endurance sports, concussion care, and holistic athlete wellness. With over a decade of experience in emergency medicine and sports clinics, she brings a dynamic, multi-disciplinary approach to injury prevention, treatment, and recovery.

SUZELLE ENGELS
Suzelle Engels obtained a Btech degree at the Tshwane University of Technology in 2004 and an Honors degree in Biokinetics in 2005 from the University of Zululand.

AJ van Wyk holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biokinetics from the University of the Free State, where he was the top Biokinetics student, earning the BASA Award. AJ specializes in rehabilitation, cybex testing, and performance optimization
